On Friday, November 16, I was honored to receive a Bambi award from Burda Publishing in Berlin. The @bambi_awards are the world's largest live TV viewership awards ceremony after the Academy Awards: Bambi is the German equivalent of the Oscar. I am humbled to follow in the footsteps of past recipients of the "Unser Erde" ("Our Earth") category which include the amazing Jane Goodall and Arnold Schwarzenegger among others. I delivered a five minute speech denouncing our global apathy in the face of systemic environmental collapse to million of live TV viewers on Germany’s ARD Chanel, and a room of more than 1000 guests. There are times when everything lines up. Friday was one of those! Thank you @hubert_burda_media for this honor and the opportunity to speak up.
